Refund Policy for Makeup by Marissa

At Makeup by Marissa, we strive to provide high-quality makeup services that meet your expectations. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we are committed to ensuring that our clients are satisfied with their experience. Below is our refund policy, which applies to all services rendered.

1. Non-Refundable Deposits

• Booking Deposits: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. This deposit will be applied towards your total service cost. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so at least 48 hours in advance to avoid forfeiting your deposit. Cancellations or rescheduling made within 48 hours of the appointment will result in the loss of the deposit.

2. Cancellations and Rescheduling

• Client Cancellations: If you cancel or reschedule your appointment with at least 48 hours' notice, your deposit can be transferred to a future appointment within 30 days. If you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice, the deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit will be required for future bookings.

• Artist Cancellations: In the rare event that Makeup by Marissa must cancel or reschedule your appointment, you will be notified as soon as possible, and any deposit paid will be fully refunded or transferred to a future appointment, per your preference.

3. Refunds

• Completed Services: Due to the nature of makeup services, refunds are not provided once a service has been completed. If you are dissatisfied with the service provided, please address your concerns before leaving the appointment. We are committed to making reasonable adjustments to ensure your satisfaction.

• Pre-Paid Packages: Refunds for pre-paid packages will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Any used portion of the package will be deducted from the refund at full price, and any remaining balance may be refunded, less a 15% administrative fee.

4. No-Shows

• Clients who fail to show up for their scheduled appointment without prior notice will forfeit their deposit and will be required to pay a new deposit for any future bookings.

5. Gift Certificates and Promotions

• Gift Certificates: Gift certificates are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. They may be used towards any service offered by Makeup by Marissa.

• Promotional Offers: Services purchased as part of a promotional offer are non-refundable and must be used by the expiration date indicated on the promotion.

6. Changes to the Refund Policy

• Makeup by Marissa reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated to clients via email and will be updated on our website.
